Without cold weather, the acorns of our Native Oaks would
not germinate. Tulips would not produce a flower. Varieties
of fruit trees like Peach would not produce fruit. Exposure to
Cold Chilling hours, allows the plant to overcome dormancy
thereby producing proper growth.
